العلاقة بين المبادلات الحرارية و الحب و تم طرح مثال اول ع المبادلات العاطفية
في علم الهندسة وتحديداً الهندسة الميكانيكية هناك ما يسمى بالمبادلات الحرارية (Heat ex-changers) التي تعمل على نقل الحرارة بين الموائع يركب على الوسط الفاصل بين المائعين بما يسمى الزعانف (Fins) وهي عبارة عن قطع حديدة باشكال ومساحات سطحية مختلفة تعمل على المساعدة في انتقال الحرارة عن طريق زيادة المساحة السطحية الملامسة والمشتركة بين المائعين فهي تزيد من كفاءة المبادل الحراري وقدرته على نقل الحرارة من مائع االى اخر بحي`ث كلما زادت مساحة تلك الزعانف زادت قدرته على نقل الحرارة ,
وفي المبادلات العاطفية مثل القلب يركب بما يسمى زعانف وردية فكلما كانت هذه الورود ناضجة زادت القدرة على تبادل العواطف بين الاشخاص ونشرت رائحة طيبة لصاحبها .
